MUIO'S RESTAURANT

Since 1961, Muio's has been home to family dining in the Soo. Famous for its Chicken on a Bun, Muio's also offers many Soo favourites such as delicious pizza, flavourful burgers, and tasty fish & chips. Affordable prices, tradition, flavour, and a full-meal restaurant with huge portions means you need to get there early on most days. Located on the corner of Queen and East Streets in the downtown hub, the friendly staff is always ready to satisfy your dining needs.

In 1961, Muio's Restaurant opened at the corner of Queen and East streets. The building was built as the Bank of Commerce in 1890, and later occupied by Angus Grant Wholesale from 1924 to 1961.
During the 60’s and 70’s, some of their neighbours were the Esquire Pool Hall, Mary’s Restaurant, Olympia Pool Hall, the Orphuem Theatre, Biltmore Theatre (later called the Odeon), the Girl in Red Restaurant and the Windsor Hotel.
